When I first started learning how to fuel my body, I was TERRIFIED of Whole Foods. I would get so overwhelmed by all the different types of "health" food, that I actually avoided Whole Foods like the plague until extremely recently. Like, I just started going on the reg. So I completely understand if you walk in to these health food stores and can't even figure out where to start. Been there! Done that! My goal, is for this list to give you a starting point. I definitely understand that Whole Foods is not the most affordable place to shop for a weekly grocery haul, but there are a few things that end up on my grocery list, that I usually can only find at Whole Foods.

  • Kite Hill dairy free yogurt - vanilla/plain are what I've tried so far and really enjoy
  • Kite Hill dairy free cream cheese/ricotta
  • Siete Foods Almond/Cassava flour torillas (these are refrigerated near the eggs -- at least my the one near me)
  • Siete Foods grain free tortilla chips - Sea Salt is my fav - disclaimer, I am a new lover of these. When I first tried them they were way too salty for me, but I have purchased some really great bags lately
  • Simple Mills crackers
  • Top quality meats from the butcher
  • boiled eggs - can't boil an egg for the life of me
  • organic fruit
  • organic vegetables
  • Banza pasta
  • Justin's milk chocolate peanut butter cups
  • Purely Elizabeth Granola
